These Terms apply to customers booking a decoration service for a vacation rental in England & Wales. By completing your order, you agree to the following:
1. Contract & Booking
1.1 These Terms govern the decoration packages (“Service”) provided by Slip Into Holiday Mode Limited (“Service Provider”) in connection with your stay at Salem The Blue Chapel, Llwyngwril, LL37 2JB (“Salem The Blue Chapel”).
1.2 A binding contract is formed once payment is received and a receipt is issued by the Service Provider.
1.3 You agree to provide accurate and complete information to your booking agent, including but not limited to your full name, stay dates, and booking reference or receipt number.
1.4 To order the Service, you must first book accommodation at Salem The Blue Chapel via the “Stay With Us” button on our website (which links to an external partner platform) or through your chosen accommodation booking platform or partner site. You must then return to the Salem The Blue Chapel website to place your decoration service order, submitting your accommodation booking reference number at the time of ordering. It is your responsibility to ensure this information is provided accurately and in a timely manner.
1.5 We rely on the information provided to prepare and deliver your decoration setup prior to your arrival. If your details are submitted late, incomplete, or incorrect, we may be unable to provide the Service, and no refunds will be issued in such circumstances.
2. What We Provide
2.1 We will set up your chosen decorations before check-in. We strive to use plastic-free or reusable materials wherever possible, in line with our sustainable ethos.
2.2 We deliver the Service with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982.
2.3 We may replace certain elements (e.g. flowers, decorative props) with equal or better alternatives depending on availability.
3. Payment & Pricing
3.1 Payment is required in full at time of purchase.
3.2 Prices include VAT (if applicable).
3.3 Optional add-ons may incur additional charges, which will be clearly disclosed before payment.
3.4 Prices are subject to change. Any updates will be clearly displayed before purchase and reflected in the final total at checkout.
4. Changes, Cancellations & Refunds
4.1 This is a time-specific, pre-arranged service. Once we begin preparing, you waive your right to a 14-day cancellation (“cooling off”) under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
4.2 No refunds are offered for the decoration service after booking.
4.3 Refunds will only be considered for physical items that have not been prepared or displayed.
4.4 Refund requests must be submitted in writing to your booking agent at least 5 full days before arrival.
5. Your Responsibilities
5.1 You must provide all necessary details, including celebrant info and chalkboard message.
5.2 You are not permitted to move or alter decorations once set up. All decorative items, including but not limited to pampas grass, woven baskets, lanterns, Easter or Christmas trees, garlands, and similar, remain the sole property of the Service Provider. Edible items such as wine, food, Easter eggs, as well as designated keepsakes including fresh bouquets, postcards, kids’ activity packs, and similar, may be used or taken. Any loss or damage to property owned by the Service Provider may result in additional charges.
5.3 You are responsible for any damage caused by guests, pets, or third parties during your stay.
6. Liability
6.1 We are responsible for damage or loss caused by our negligence.
6.2 We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
6.3 Nothing excludes our liability for death or personal injury due to negligence.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Designs, branding, and setup concepts are the intellectual property of the business.
7.2 You may not reproduce or reuse them without written consent.
8. Governing Law
8.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
8.2 Any disputes will be handled by courts within that jurisdiction.
Returns (Physical Items Only)
• If a physical item (e.g. food hamper, bath soak, drink) arrives faulty or incorrect, you may request a replacement or refund within 14 days.
• Items must be unused and in original condition.
• You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty.
• Personalised or perishable items may not be returned unless faulty.
